Allow broken samples to be relinked

Currently, when moving XT2 files from one machine to another (via external drive, etc.), if the path to unedited samples changes the sample in the song is broken with the message "Sample not loaded".

XT2 should allow you to simply right-click on the broken sample, give a "File Open" dialog with a title similar to "Locate existing sample file." (If for some reason internal to XT2 it is required that the file be the same byte-size etc., then XT2 could simply validate that the file matches before linking.)

Sorry for "solutioning" this problem, but I am a developer, as well. [grin]

yes Jorgen - but that puts the sample into RAM and makes the project file huge

Definatly a must - I hate having to find and re-edit samples just because I moved a sample folder. Even an 'auto-copy audio files into track folder when saving the song' function would be a start. That way the audio will always stay with the track.
